Siberian Huskies come with their own sets of requirement and needs some special arrangement for being content and loveable. Because of many tantrums of this particular breed, sometimes they are put up for adoption because the new owners cannot cope up with or unaware about this, which is actually manageable. Let’s move to the points which would keep your Siberian huskies well accommodated and comfortable.

  1. TOYS: Whenever you plan to bring a husky puppy, the most important thing you have to keep in mind i.e. toys because as they are puppy and have a tendency to bite everything. The hard chewable toys will keep your puppy occupied, it will teach them to stop biting and they won’t bug in you. It is also important for them to know how hard they need to bite.
  2. Living Space: Siberian huskies are very inquisitive in nature, they are more into exploration. They need a pretty big area to jump around because they have strong legs and highly active in nature. Make sure you have tall fencing surround your house because Siberian huskies are great escapist and like to dig, so the space should be adequately secured. In addition to these things the in house things that you have to hold on to that is maintaining a cooler climatic condition for them as this breed is from arctic area, they are used to extreme cool weather condition. You have to be attentive enough to provide them adequate amount water during summer, air condition/cooler is a must item to be there in your house and if they are out in the sun, keep them under proper shade.
  3. Comb: If you are getting a husky get a pair of brush because they have fleecy coat of hair. Siberian husky has an underneath coat and they shed a lot. To prevent massive shedding you have to comb them on a regular basis, it will save the dog from skin infection also. Due to having double coat of hair, the undercoat hair shed a lot and creates mess all over the house and there you need to comb him regularly.
  4. Harness: Firstly you need to know the purpose of why you need a harness; there are various purposes to make your dog wear a harness. Whether you want to put on them for walking or running, pulling or lunging or you want to train a senior dog or help a dog with hip issues in their mobility.The kinds of harnesses you can buy for your dogs as per your requirements are as follows:

Chewing treats are always good for your dog’s dental health rather than using tooth brush and toothpaste.
  7. Baby Gates: Baby gates are going to limit your puppy from certain parts of your house. As soon as your puppy arrives in your house, you don’t want give access all around your house to your puppy, because it is way too big to introduce your puppy. Siberian huskies are known to jump and it will drive you crazy if you don’t restrict your puppy within an area, gradually introduce them, make them understand what to do and then release them slowly to the kitchen or other part of your house.
  8. Cage or Kennels: People sometimes cage their dog all the time, which is absolutely wrong and can make your puppy depressed, aggressive. Kennels are basically to keep your dog safe, when you are not around to supervise.
